(Gurnee, IL) April 25, 2010- The N. I. Lady Hoopers AAU Basketball Team capped off an outstanding weekend by winning the championship game at the prestigious 6th Annual GBA
Cincinnati Classic held at the University of Cincinnati, Ohio the weekend of April 24th The Hoopers went undefeated defeating the Northern Kentucky Fillies, Day Vipers, Louisville Sting before beating the Cincy Legend Gold for the Championship! Skyler Jessop (Grayslake) led the way offensively for the weekend averaging 22 points per game. Kerry Risley (Libertyville) and Eileen Knauff (Libertyville) each also made huge contributions offensively averaging 15 and 11 points per game respectively. Olivia Mayer (Libertyville) dished out 6 assists per game and also played exceptional defense. Emma Shepard (Grayslake), Kristiana Stolzman (Huntley), and Taylor Sheppard (Warren) all contributed key defensive efforts especially down the stretch in the semi-final game. E. Shepard and Stolzman also hit huge shots in each of the semi-final and the championship games to help secure the victories.2010 Lady Hoopers Spring Season

Lady Hoopers in their 3rd year are excited to start the Spring 2010 season.
This year the Lady Hoopers will have two 10th grade teams and one 8th grade team competing in competive tournaments in the Midwest. The Lady Hoopers practice on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6:30 - 9:00p.m. at Woodland Middle School in Gurnee, IL. If you are looking for a program for your daughter don't let our size fool you. Our size allows us to provide individual attention to your daughter. In the last three years we have finished in the top two of almost every tournament we have competed in. The girls that are recruited to our program and are skilled, dedicated, hard working players who excel in the team culture we have developed.

The Hoopers are based in Gurnee, IL, which is located in north central Lake County, IL. We accept players who are willing to make the commitment to travel with our program and do not have residency restrictions.Page 1 of 1
